Our Literature

Eastern European Mission offers a set of Bible-based materials designed to serve as resources for spiritual and moral education of children and teenagers. Our books are non-confessional in nature and used by parents and educators from a variety of Christian backgrounds. They simply focus on retelling the story of the Bible in a language appropriate for the age group while drawing attention to positive traits, principles, and actions that can help the youth develop a strong moral character for daily living.

Our books are offered free of charge to schools, kindergartens, pre-schools, churches, and officially recognized benevolent organizations. To request the set, please fill out the Request Form.

Each set contains the following books:

Bible for You

“Bible for You” is a collection of biblical stories, with passages taken directly from the Holy Scriptures (in Hungarian, from the New Revised Translation (Revideált Új Fordítás) by Hungarian Bible Society (Magyar Bibliatársulat Alapítvány) and in Romanian from the Holy Bible, New Romanian Translation (Noua Traducere În Limba Română) by Biblica, Inc.). Each story is preceded by a short introduction and followed with 2-3 simple questions reflecting on the text. “Bible for You” is written for pre-teens and young teens (11-15 year olds) at their reading level. Bible Coloring Books

Teach your children about God using this set of Bible coloring books. As children color the pictures, they learn to memorize Bible verses from both the Old and New Testament. This also gives you the chance to share with them some of the most fascinating stories from God’s Word!

The set contains two coloring books: The first one guides children through some of the best known verses in the Old Testament; the second one features verses from the New Testament. Each Bible verse is accompanied by its English translation, an age-appropriate illustration that the children can color for themselves, and space where children copy the Bible verse themselves—in order to memorize it more easily. This way, the children have the opportunity to work on their English, to work on reading and writing, or just produce biblical artwork.

A Newcomer’s Guide to the Bible + Workbook

Because of its content and historic impact, the Bible is one of the most important books of all time. It is worthy not only of our reading and studying, but also of conisdering how to apply its truths, and obey its commands. As popular author Max Lucado has written, “The Bible is not a newspaper to be skimmed, but rather a mine to be quarried.”

The Newcomer’s Guide to the Bible is an excellent nontechnical introduction to the Bible written to help all readers, and especially those who are new to the Bible. In a straightforward and panoramic style, Mike Armour helps us gain an overall perspective of the Bible – understanding its flow and how it all fits together. His goal is to give us an overview of the Bible and lay a foundation for a lifetime of personal Bible study and application.

A Newcomer’s Guide to the Bible comes with a Workbook that can be used for a systematic study of the book.
